EL PASO, TX — In just one week, Downtown El Paso will transform into a mini-golf course as the Downtown Barstool Open returns on Saturday, January 31.
The one-day tournament sends teams across Downtown to play mini golf at bars, restaurants, and hotels along three distinct courses. New this year, the event features a third course, bringing the total to 27 holes hosted by local Downtown businesses. The Downtown Barstool Open is presented by Miller Lite, Dos Equis, and Twisted Tea.
Barstool Open weekend kicks off on Friday, January 30, with a Pre-Party and Packet Pickup from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at DoubleTree by Hilton El Paso Downtown, the event’s Birdie Sponsor. Teams are encouraged to stop by to check in early, pick up scorecards, and start the weekend Downtown.
In addition to competing for the lowest score, teams often dress in coordinated costumes and participate in fun contests like Best Team Costume and Best Team Name, adding to the high-energy atmosphere throughout the day. Winners will be announced on social media following the event.
The Downtown Barstool Open is officially sold out, with hundreds of participants expected to take over Downtown for a day full of competition and exploration.
