The days of patio dining and cocktail sipping are upon us, so enjoy the beautiful spring weather under an umbrella! Here are some outdoor spaces we love in Downtown El Paso.

501 Bar and Bistro

501 Texas Ave • Office District • (915) 351-6023

Enter the oasis of patios in Downtown, outlined by a green hedge hidden behind the wooden gates. Wrought iron and Spanish tile make you feel like you’re sitting inside a courtyard of a hacienda. On Fridays enjoy $1 Tacos and Margaritas!!

Anson 11

303 N Oregon • Las Plazas District • (915) 504-6400

You will feel like you are eating at a French bistro when you dine patio style at Anson 11. The white and tan wicker chairs matched with small round tables will have you saying “bonjour,” to passersby. Sip on a glass of wine and order the Polenta and Wild Mushroom for a full dining experience.

The Briar Patch/ Hyde Patio Bar

508 N Stanton St • Office District • (915) 577-9555

Impressions of a lovely backyard garden is the vibe you get when you find this hidden gem in Downtown. Propped up umbrellas, soft glowing light with touches of vintage statues and art. A cozy warm feeling embraces you at the Hyde Patio Bar. Make your way through the Briar Patch to find this concealed home waiting for you with it’s own bar to serve you. Enjoy live DJ’s on the weekend.

Circa 1963 at Hotel Indigo

325 N Kansas St • Office District • (915) 532-5200

Poolside patio-need we say more!! But we do, because Circa 1963 has not one, but two patios. In all reality, the whole 5th floor feels like an open air patio. The sound of moving water from the pool’s waterfalls, the breeze wafting through the bar area, along the cool blue and cream colors is the chill vibe you’re looking for. Order hand-crafted cocktails or a pizza from the wood fire oven. Just sit back relax and take it all in at Circa 1963.

International

114 E Mills Ave, Ste A • Las Plazas District • (915) 303-7768

A patio overlooking the heart of Downtown, San Jacinto Plaza. Upstairs on the patio you will find a bar to grab cocktails. Don’t look down if you’re scared of heights! A rectangular piece of glass serves as the floor near the bar to see all activity happening downstairs! Grab a bite to eat from Lick It Up that resides within International.

Park Tavern

204 E Mills Ave • Office District • (915) 228-9050

Sitting outside a 100 year old building you will find that Park Tavern combines historic design elements along with contemporary accents, reminiscent of a French salon. The West facing wall retains restored vintage advertisements as an homage to Downtown history. Plants adorn the embellished iron fence surrounding the perimeter. Misters are sure to keep you cool while sitting underneath the covered patio. Enjoy a Cortez (tequila, triple sec, lime juice, rosemary syrup and pineapple juice) paired with Chicken Piccata for lunch or dinner.

WXYZ at Aloft Hotel

303 Texas Ave • Office District • (915) 351-7990

This patio will truly make you feel like you are sitting in a metropolitan courtyard with the concert floors and cinderblock walls laid against wooden booths and green plants. Iron beams and planters add to the urban feel of contemporary style. Hints of blue club lighting give a posh party feel. Grab a flatbread pizza or burger along with a cold beer or a classic mojito and enjoy on the patio.
