Jesus “Cimi” Alvarado has definitely added a splash of color to Downtown El Paso with Murals around every corner. He has become an influential member of the community and recently was nominated for El Pasoan of the Year by El Paso Inc. He speaks for the Chicano community with public art works. His work was recently displayed in “The Forever Purge” and he was commissioned to paint “El Exotico” mural in Downtown El Paso for the upcoming film about El Paso Luchador Cassandro El Exotico. Including being a muralist he also has a retail shop in Artspace with affordable art supplies for beginning artist. See what inspired all his murals throughout Downtown.
