EL PASO, TX (November 19, 2020)-The Downtown Management District (DMD) welcomes, Ricardo Bustamante, our Operations Manager and Arwen Lyle, our Office and Marketing Assistant.

Mr. Bustamante arrives with two decades of experience in the public realm as the Recreation Program Supervisor for the City of El Paso (COEP), Parks and Recreation Department.  Mr. Bustamante is completing a degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). While with the COEP, Parks and Recreation Department, Mr. Bustamante was instrumental in planning, development and supervision of operations in assigned Recreation Centers, in addition to managing large-scale City of El Paso parks programs.

“Every new day brings an opportunity to do great things, and I look forward to making the best of every day with the DMD to make a difference in our Downtown,” said Richard Bustamante.

With a Bachelors in both Business Management and Marketing from Pensacola Christian College, Arwen Lyle comes to us from Painted Dunes Golf Course. As the Marketing and Sales Director at Painted Dunes Golf Course, Ms. Lyle evaluated sales performance, managed marketing campaigns and staged events. Ms. Lyle was also North East El Paso Rotary Club President in 2019, and Event Director for the North East Business Alliance (NEBA) Board from 2019-2020.

“I am a big advocate for El Paso and excited to work for an organization that believes in the growth and revitalization of Downtown El Paso. I look forward to the future of Downtown and feel honored to be a part of its progress,” said Arwen Lyle.

“The DMD is excited to gain individuals prepared to assist us in our mission to maintain the vibrancy of the Downtown. We look forward to the contributions both Ricardo and Arwen will make to our Operations and Marketing Departments respectively,” said Joe Gudenrath, DMD Executive Director.
