Interlocal Agreement with the City of El Paso
On September 29, 2020 the Downtown Management District and the City of El Paso entered into an Interlocal Agreement aimed at providing a mutual benefit to both entities and serving the governmental purposes of stimulating commercial development and business activity in the downtown area. This agreements spells out the delivery of numerous services, programs and projects for the benefit of our downtown. Those services, program and projects include sanitation, grants, event permitting, bike rack installation and economic development. The first Interlocal Agreement between the two organizations dates back to 2010.
