El Paso, TX (November 18, 2025) — Tickets for the 2026 Downtown Barstool Open will go on sale Thursday, November 20 at 10:00 AM at DowntownElPaso.com. The popular mini-golf tournament returns on Saturday, January 31, 2026, produced by the Downtown Management District and presented by Miller Lite, Dos Equis, and Twisted Tea.
This year’s event expands to three full courses and 27 total holes inside Downtown bars, restaurants, and hotels. Capacity is also increasing from 1,000 to 1,500 participants, giving more teams the chance to join the fun.
“This event continues to grow because people love discovering Downtown in a new and exciting way,” said Joe Gudenrath, Executive Director of the Downtown Management District. “By increasing capacity to 1,500 participants and expanding to 27 holes, we are bringing more teams into the fun while supporting even more of the Downtown businesses that make this event possible.”
The Downtown Barstool Open will begin with its first-ever Pre-Party and Early Check-In on Friday, January 30 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the DoubleTree Hotel Downtown, the official hotel sponsor. Players can book a night, pick up their scorecards, enjoy music, and kick off the event a night early.
Tournament Day takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Teams will putt their way through their designated nine hole course among the 27 participating Downtown bars, restaurants, and hotels. Teams are assigned to either the Miller Lite, Dos Equis, or Twisted Tea course. No golf experience is required.
