Important Information:

  • Cost: Food Truck spaces are $100.
  • Regulations: Food Trucks must comply with all city regulations.
  • Promotion: Food Truck Vendors are required to promote the event.
  • Setup: Vendors are responsible for their setups, tables, chairs, and weather covers.
  • Safety: All tents or weather coverings must be secured by 25-pound anchors on EACH leg. (NO staking or drilling allowed)
  • Change: The DMD will not carry money change. Food Truck Vendors must make arrangements for change.
  • Noise: FOOD TRUCKS MUST HAVE SILENT GENERATORS OR SOUND DAMPENING COVERS.

The Tour

It is a self-guided tour, meaning that you may start at any location at any time after checking in from 8:30-10:30 am at District Coffee – 222 Texas Ave F, El Paso, TX 79901. Visit the hotels in any order you wish, and visit as many or as few as you wish. Expect a completed tour of all 5 hotels to last about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Parking

Parking is available at multiple lots/garages throughout downtown for a fee. Parking meters are enforced throughout the duration of the tour. FREE parking is available on the City Hall surface lot located off Main Street between Kansas and Campbell Streets.

Food and Water

As a bonus, each hotel on the tour will feature a water station and appetizers for your tasting enjoyment!

Prizes

Win prizes at the Downtown Hotel Tour! Attached to your event lanyard, there will be 5 individual entry tickets color-coded to each hotel location. Once you have toured the hotel, drop the corresponding color entry ticket in the collection bag. There will be one raffle per hotel + a grand prize raffle where we’ll put together all the tickets from all hotels for the chance to win. The more hotels you tour, the more chances you will have to win. Prizes include restaurant gift cards, luggage, and more.

Winners will be contacted by the DMD on Monday, May 6th, along with an announcement posting on the Downtown El Paso social media platforms.
