El Paso Downtown Management District “Spreads The Love” with 350 Roses Across Downtown El Paso

DOWNTOWN EL PASO, TX — Love filled the streets of Downtown El Paso today as the El Paso Downtown Management District (DMD) continued its annual “Spread The Love” Valentine’s Day activation. Throughout the afternoon, DMD staff surprised downtown visitors, employees, and business owners by handing out 350 roses, each paired with a heartfelt message to brighten their day.

The initiative created spontaneous moments of joy across the district, as recipients paused for photos, exchanged smiles, and shared the unexpected gesture with friends and colleagues. From office workers and restaurant staff to shoppers and visitors exploring Downtown, the roses served as a simple but meaningful reminder of connection and appreciation.

“Spreading the Love is our way of thanking the workers, visitors, and small business owners who bring energy and life to Downtown every day. It’s a simple gesture, but we hope it creates a meaningful moment and reminds people how valued they are,” said Ivan Bernal, Marketing and Communications Manager for the El Paso Downtown Management District.
