You Rock! is an inclusive music camp for girls, supported by the Because of You Fund and the El Paso Community Foundation. During the two-week camp, participants learn to play an instrument, form a band, and write an original song. The camp culminates in a live performance on the Plaza Classic Film Festival’s outdoor stage on Oregon Street. The campers will perform as the opening act for the 40th-anniversary screening of Jonathan Demme’s celebrated Talking Heads concert documentary, Stop Making Sense.
