LGBTQIA+ Loved Ones
Join the El Paso Museum of History for a Pride month conversation focused on the impact and importance of supporting LGBTQIA+ loved ones. Moderated by PFLAG El Paso, this panel will feature Dr. Toni Ramirez (Project Vida), the Honorable Lyda Ness Garcia (383rd District Court), Amber Perez (Borderland Rainbow Center), Grace Perez (former PFLAG El Paso President), the M Factor (City of El Paso Public Health), and Andi Rose Tiscareño. The discussion will cover a range of topics including the medical, legal, emotional, and social supports available in the community. Attendees can learn more about how to be advocates and allies as everyone comes together to celebrate Pride month.
Before and after the panel, visitors are encouraged to catch the El Paso Museum of History’s “Dualidad: Indigenous Gender Identity in the American Southwest and Mexico” (on view through March 2025) as well as the special Pride exhibit pop-up “El Baile de los 41” (on view through June 30, 2024).
