Fearless, Strange and Magnificent Art/Literary Show Celebrates Women and Femininity
The vibrant cultural scene of El Paso welcomes an extraordinary event
celebrating women and those who identify on the spectrum of femininity – the Fearless, Strange
and Magnificent Art/Literary Show. With over 50 participants including artists, artisans, and
writers, this event promises to be an inspiring showcase of creativity and expression.
Hosted at 500 W Overland Street, the show will take place from 7:00 to 10:00 pm on June 1st.
This unique gathering will feature an eclectic mix of visual art, handmade crafts, music and
literary works, all highlighting the diverse talents of women and non-binary individuals in our
community.
“We are thrilled to present Fearless, Strange and Magnificent, an event that celebrates the
creativity, resilience, and unique perspectives of women and those who identify on the spectrum
of femininity,” says Amber James, the event co-organizer. Lisa Jeanerette, who also
co-organized the event said, “Our aim is to provide a platform for artists, artisans, and writers to
share their stories, visions, and experiences through their art and literary works,
Attendees can expect to explore a wide range of artistic styles and mediums, from paintings and
sculptures to jewelry and textiles, all created by talented individuals who embody the spirit of
fearlessness, strangeness, and magnificence. In addition to visual art, there will be readings and
performances by local writers and musicians, adding another layer of depth and meaning to the
event.
