Join the El Paso Museum of History and community groups as they celebrate Pride month! On Saturday, June 4 we will have an all-ages Pride celebration with free hands-on activities and tabling with local resources. On display through the month is our pop-up exhibit “El Paso’s Pride & Resistance”, which spotlights the experiences of El Paso’s LGBTQIA+ community, past and present. The exhibit features the art of the late local queer, Chicano artist Manuel Acosta, whose work is permanently displayed in the National Portrait Gallery.
