El Paso, TX (October 4, 2024) — Step into the role of a detective and unravel the chilling secrets behind Evelyn Harrington’s mysterious death in the El Paso Downtown Management District’s latest interactive event, Deceit in Downtown El Paso. This free, month-long murder mystery kicks off on Friday, October 4th, and runs until November 1st, 2024.
Participants will begin their investigation at San Jacinto Plaza, starting at the kiosk on the corner of Main and Oregon streets. A QR code at the location will launch the game, sending players on a thrilling journey through Downtown El Paso, following clues and meeting characters who hold key information about the case.
As you explore, you’ll uncover secrets, gather evidence, and ultimately try to solve the mystery of who killed Evelyn Harrington. At each location, players will receive a new clue or code to unlock the next part of the story. Once you’ve visited all the locations, you’ll be prompted to submit your answer to who you believe the murderer is. If you crack the case, you’ll be entered into a raffle for exciting prizes, including a tote bag and beanie from Lost In El Paso, gift certificates to Blush Spa and Weso Steakhouse, and tickets to The Haunted Houses of Terror, provided by KLAQ.
For an extra chance to win, dress up in your best 1920s outfit and tag the El Paso Downtown Management District on social media at @downtownelpaso, or email your photo to [email protected]. This will earn you two entries into the raffle!
