Get ready to eat, explore and celebrate Halloween in Union Plaza with the Downtown Tasting Tour!

This exclusive culinary experience takes you through a curated lineup of local restaurants and bars, with a different tasting waiting at every stop. Each tour path follows its own route through Union Plaza before all four groups come together at Nuestro Nostalgia for the final stop of the night.

For this special October edition, we’re adding a little Halloween spirit to the tour. Costumes are highly encouraged, so grab your friends, dress up and make a night of it.

Whether you’re a dedicated foodie or simply looking for a fun night out, the Downtown Tasting Tour is a great way to discover new favorites, support local businesses and experience Downtown one bite at a time.

How it works

Each tour path begins at a different Union Plaza restaurant. Choose your preferred starting location when purchasing tickets, and if you’re attending with friends or a date, be sure to select the same path.

Each path is limited to 25 tickets, creating a more intimate, social dining experience as your group makes its way from stop to stop.

All four paths feature the same participating locations in a different order and will end together at Nuestro Nostalgia.

And since it’s Halloween week, costumes are encouraged! Come dressed up and ready for a festive night of food, drinks and Downtown fun.

Please note:

  • This event is 21+ only.
  • Tickets are final and non-refundable.
  • The pre-fixe tasting menu is set and cannot be modified or substituted, including changes for meat or seafood preferences.
  • Guests must follow the path listed on their ticket.
  • Please arrive on time at your assigned starting location. Tours will begin promptly.
  • Water is included with your ticket.

Check-In

Check-in begins at 5:30 PM at your starting restaurant.
Please arrive by 5:40 PM to stay on schedule.

A tour guide will lead your group from stop to stop throughout the evening.

Tasting Tour Participants

The Tiki Room

The Tiki Room will be serving a Luau Slider featuring pork shoulder, spicy pineapple BBQ sauce, passionfruit mustard, house slaw, pickles and onion on a Hawaiian roll, paired with creamy Hawaiian Mac with shredded carrots and green onions.

Chilabox Chilaquiles will be serving a Small Chilaquiles Box with your choice of red or green sauce, topped with chicken, onion, cilantro, sour cream and cheese, and served with your choice of water or Jumex.

Pearl Divers will be serving a Shrimp Roll and Frites, featuring tender shrimp served on a toasted roll and paired with crispy golden fries.

Tibors Craft Cocktails will be serving a warm Spinach Artichoke Dip, featuring a rich and creamy blend of spinach and artichokes served with bread for dipping.

Nuestro Nostalgia

Nuestro Nostalgia will be our sweet treat of the night, serving a curated assortment of traditional Mexican candies and sweets, featuring a colorful variety of nostalgic flavors, textures and handmade treats to end the tour on a sweet note.
