NASA’s Citizen Science projects are collaborations between scientists and interested members of the public. Through these collaborations, volunteers (known as citizen scientists) have helped make thousands of important scientific discoveries. Want to work on some real NASA science? Students will be introduced to ways they can participate locally using accessible technologies like Arduinos, sensors, and smartphones to collect data. Participants will work towards earning their “Scientist Badge,” and also learn where to find resources to continue their citizen science after the workshop
