Long ago, before San Jacinto Plaza was filled with lights and laughter, real alligators lived in its pond. The very first was Sally, curious, clever, and always wandering beyond the plaza to explore Downtown El Paso.

Each October, when the autumn moon glows, the legend says Sally returns to Downtown El Paso. She slips through the streets, leaving posters behind at her favorite shops for families and friends to discover.

Now it’s your turn to follow her path! From October 1st – October, 31st:

• Find Sally’s posters at participating Downtown businesses.

• Take a selfie with Sally’s posters at each stop.

• Submit your photos online for prizes.
