Step inside Jane & Jensen Vintage, and it feels like walking into your cool tía’s house, a place full of mid-century art, quirky books, retro glassware, and those little treasures that instantly make you say, “Omg, I remember this!”
Owner Darlene Escandón has created what she calls a “nostalgia nook” in the heart of Downtown, a mini-boutique where every piece is handpicked with intention. “I wanted to build a space that sparks connection,” she says. “It’s about sharing memories, laughter, and helping people rediscover those forgotten gems that feel like home.”
The El Paso Downtown Management District got to sit down with Darlene to talk about the inspiration behind this cozy pop-up, what makes her curation unique, and how she hopes to keep contributing to the creative energy of Downtown.
Mark your calendars: Jane & Jensen Vintage will host an all-day Reopening Celebration on Saturday, August 2nd. Come explore the shop, enjoy prizes and giveaways, and meet Sally the Alligator at 12:00 PM!
This little shop is more than just a place to shop, it’s a space for storytelling, discovery, and community. “Whether it’s a vintage piece that reminds you of your childhood or a local artist you’ve never heard of, I want people to feel something when they walk in,” Darlene says.
Visit Jane & Jensen Vintage in Downtown (115 N. Mesa) and take your time, linger, explore, and maybe leave with more than just a vintage find.
