We truly have something weird for everyone at our shows. All items you see at our shows are legal to own and sustainably sourced. Outside of our curated vendors\, we host sideshow performers on stage all throughout the day and the opportunity to learn the craft of taxidermy with classes available during the expo. \nThe O&C Expo provides a safe place for anyone to come and discover new artists\, meet new friends and be surrounded by an amazing community of like-minded people. We pride ourselves in being a completely “DIY” run show from start to finish. We find so much joy in being able to provide a place where you can feel at home surrounded by others that share the same interests. He recently tore the ACL in his back left leg\, leaving him in pain and unable to walk the way he used to. On top of that\, he has a fatty tumor that needs to be removed before it grows any larger or affects his mobility. It breaks our hearts to see him in pain and not being able to run and jump like he used to just a couple weeks ago. We want to give Chase the care he deserves\, so we’re offering leatherworking classes to help raise funds for his surgery and recovery. James can currently be seen in his one hour stand-up comedy special Kevin James: Irregardless on Prime Video\, which was nominated for 2024’s Best Comedy Special by the Critics Choice Awards. James will also be starring in the 2026 upcoming feature film “Solo Mio” alongside Nicole Grimaudo\, Jonathan Roumie\, and Kim Coates.

SUMMARY:MACC- Prickly Portraits Workshop
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop participants will make a nopal self-portrait with prepped papier mache nopal pads. Students will paint a self-portrait of themselves or an alter ego on the textured pads that will sit onto a planter which students will then paint. Participants will complete their mixed media sculpture by adding toothpicks “picos” and adorning their portraits with craft materials. These non-traditional portraits will assist students in creating expressions of identity through regional references by expanding the student’s ideas of expression through material.
