SUMMARY:Adobe At The Pass: Documenting The Mission Valley in 1936
DESCRIPTION:Preservation Texas is planning for the opening of its El Paso County Heritage Center in downtown El Paso in March\, 2025. Preservation Texas developed an inaugural exhibit focusing on the 1936 Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) photographs taken by San Antonio architect Marvin Eickenroht (1898-1969)\, featuring churches and residences in the West Texas communities of El Paso\, San Elizario\, Ysleta\, and Socorro.  The exhibit will showcase ten (10) high-resolution photographs with accompanying text. The center will have Preservation Texas merchandise available for purchase. Stay tuned for other events!

DESCRIPTION:The City of El Paso and El Paso Live are proud to announce the return of the El Fresco Music Series for its 2025 season\, presented by Nusenda Credit Union. This year’s free outdoor concert series will take place at the Convention Center Plaza in Downtown El Paso\, 1 Civic Center Plaza 79901\, on May 23\, June 27\, July 11 and August 29\, inviting the community together to enjoy four nights filled with music\, food and fun. With this year’s new “Ritmo & Rodeo” theme\, each event date will spotlight local entertainment of country and Latin bands\, highlighting the diverse\, local musicians from the surrounding region.
