Have you heard? The next exhibition on El Paso’s music scene is set to open in April 2024. This new community-based exhibition will highlight the local music scene in El Paso and the greater surrounding areas. Tracing music’s influence nationally and internationally, the exhibit will include an overview of the most influential eras in the 20th century as well as their contemporary influence.

During the community charrette, the public is invited to participate and weigh in on what they would like to see in this exhibition.
The museum asks the community to share their:
+ photographs
+ posters
+ flyers
+ textiles (think band outfits or merch)
+ audio
+ visuals
+ instruments
and other music-related objects to display within the exhibition.
