THIS AMENITY IS CURRENTLY CLOSED
The Downtown Management District (DMD), Fresh Air Food Court program was an effort to support food and beverage businesses in Downtown in 2020. In light of current health challenges, the Downtown Fresh Air Food Court provided a reduced risk space to eat Downtown with expanded seating capacity and provided guests with a safe, sanitized, and socially distanced seating option outdoors after ordering take-out orders.
The Downtown amenity closed on December 29, 2020.
The Fresh Air Food Court provided the public an opportunity to buy from local Downtown restaurants and cafés, then dine in our social distanced, sanitized, fresh air, on-street seating area located on Mills Avenue between Mesa and Oregon Streets. The amenity was designed to provide a reduced-risk option to eat when Downtown dine-in is not available or seating is at capacity.
To help ensure the safe and responsible operation of the dining area, the DMD had staff on duty throughout the day to sanitize the area and assist guests. Guests were asked to abide by the following rules:
- Please wait to be seated.
- Seating is for customers only – 90 minute time limit.
- Only parties of 6 or less allowed.
- No tipping.
- Maintain a minimum of 6 feet between parties.
- Face coverings required until seated.
- No smoking in area.
- Please dispose of trash.
