April 1st Eight Residential Developments to Participate in First Downtown Living Tour!

For those El Pasoans curious about what it would be like to live in Downtown El Paso, April 1st is your chance to get a first-hand experience of eight new downtown residential developments. The Downtown Management District (DMD) is working with local developers to showcase housing options and build excitement for residential life in the heart of the city.

Participating developments include:

  • The Abdou Building, 115 N. Mesa Street
  • Campbell Street Apartments, 501 S. Campbell Street
  • Essex Alley, 513 W. San Antonio Avenue
  • Franklin Avenue Apartments, 617 W. Franklin Avenue
  • Martin Lofts, 217 N. Stanton Street
  • The Mix, 518 W. San Antonio Avenue
  • Roderick Artspace Lofts, 601 N. Oregon Street
  • The Savoy, 120 S. Stanton Street

Tickets for the tour are $15 each and quantities are limited. The tours will be available from 11am – 4pm, on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Tour participants will experience food and drink at each location from some of downtown’s great dining establishments, shuttle service between stops and the opportunity to win a $1,000 store credit at Mattress Firm. “The desire to live in Downtown El Paso is strong based on the number of new housing options that continue to open up,” said DMD Executive Director Joe Gudenrath. “The Downtown Living Tour gives the entire community the opportunity to experience eight amazing developments and learn what all the buzz is about. Whether you are looking for a place to live, or just curious about these exciting projects, the Downtown Living Tour provides a great opportunity.

What to expect when you purchase a ticket

You will have access to eight residential developments in addition to bite-sized food and refreshments at each location by eateries such as: Mac’s Place, The Tap, Nolita Corner Bistro, Delight, Tabla, Smash & Roll, International, and Dark Horse Tavern, plus shuttle transportation between locations. At the first location you visit you will be given a map to pinpoint each location and a passport card for a chance to win a $1000 in store credit at Mattress Firm.

In addition, prize drawings will be held every hour. Prizes include Mattress Firm merchandise, Neon Desert tickets, and Streetfest tickets!

The Downtown Living Tour is presented by Mattress Firm, with support from the City of El Paso Economic and International Development Department and the Neon Desert Music Festival. The tour is organized by the El Paso Downtown Management District.
