The El Paso community is invited to the Earth Day Every Day Celebration at the Downtown Art and Farmers Market from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, April 22.
The fifth annual celebration is one of the largest Earth Day events hosted by the City every year. The market will be at the Pedestrian Pathway between Durango and Santa Fe. The celebration includes health and fitness workshops, hands-on eco-friendly arts and crafts, gardening and local food cooking demonstrations, as well as recycled and upcycled arts and crafts vendors. Visitors are encouraged to bring bikes (or rent from Sun Cycle Bike share) and join the Family Fun Bicycle Ride with Velo Paso and a bike safety clinic.
“Earth Day Everyday provides families with a space to learn about conservation and the ease with which they can make healthy, sustainable lifestyle choices through our workshops and local shopping experience, ” said Art and Farmers Market Coordinator Valerie Venecia.
